About the Position: Position serves as Chief of Civilian Schools Branch or Military Schools Branch responsible for the professional development of Army officers located worldwide. Position is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Plan, program, brief, and submit funding requirements to the appropriate Program Evaluation Group (PEG) for funding requirements for all civilian graduate education programs.
Oversee the preparation, coordination and conduct of numerous fellowship boards annually for non-MEL producing courses and develop timelines to ensure successful execution, coordinating all actions within HRC, functional area proponents, and G1.
Interact with officials of higher rank and in other divisions, directorates and agencies within the Department of Army, and with officials of other services and coordinate the efforts of all branches within the directorates in meeting command goals.
Plan overall work operations, set priorities, establishes branch, division and directorate objectives, develop work requirement, expectation, standards, and advise subordinates.
Provide advice to high-level management officials on problems involving operations and the impact on programs.

Experience Required:
To qualify based on your resume, the resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which includes and prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defines as: Experience serving as the program manager for Army Advanced Civil Schooling (ACS) Program and the Expanded Graduate School Program (EGSP). Experience developing and implementing plans and policies as they pertain to the management, approval, and placement of Commissioned and Warrant Officers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13).
