You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the WEAPONS PLATFORM INTEGRATION BRANCH of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Duties

You will serve as the Senior Analyst. You will participate in the development of strategic plans, goals, and objectives ensuring alignment with those of the Branch, Division, Department and Command. You will lead online NEPS annual funding request entries for multiple customers You will support the Task Manager with budget planning, coordination, execution, logistics, and sustainment of subject weapons systems.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating program budgets and workload requirements to identify resource issues to improve efficiency and execution of a program.
