Duties
You will manage the integration of operational capabilities and technical requirements to provide the foundation for C2 system development, fielding and application, in accordance with the JCIDS and MCFDS processes.
You will determine current and future required capabilities and supporting tasks to execute the Marine Corps operating and enabling concepts.
You will exercise delegated technical and administrative supervisory authority over the division's active duty, civil servant and contract support personnel.
You will provide advice, counsel, and instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will provide technical advice to the entire Division relating to the research, development, establishment and sponsorship of all C2 capabilities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
A significant portion of the incumbent's work requires representing the Marine Corps in support of CJCS sponsored working groups and integrated process teams. As such, the incumbent must be able to function independently, to include interaction with agency heads in CD&I, HQMC, the Joint Staff, DoD, OSD, and other high level joint and interagency officials. The incumbent is expected to be adept at dealing independently across a wide spectrum of C2 warfighting capability development issues and is required to exercise sound judgment and initiative in determining the interests and equities of the Marine Corps. The incumbent will justify, defend, or negotiate matters involving significant issues affecting the project program (e.g., recommendations affecting C2 capability efforts). In addition, the individual will exercise wide latitude in interpreting existing guidance while ensuring the best interests of the Marine Corps and CD&I are represented and considered in emerging joint warfighting capabilities. The position requires the incumbent to exercise managerial, analytical and oversight responsibilities in an environment that is marked by continuous innovation, profound change and uncertainty.
