Duties
You will serve as a functional subject matter expert (SME), who provides guidance and staff level oversight of geographically dispersed LRCs under the cognizance of Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) area of support (AOS).
You will provide guidance on the overall management of supply chain program, policies and procedures governing supply accountability; supply purchasing methods and strategies; and provides review of contracts use in purchasing.
You will participate in and/or leads cross-functional meetings to resolve supply chain issues and drive process improvements in supply chain functional areas.
You will ensure the Command and AFSB?s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to unit members and integrated into the organization?s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products, and services.
You will analyze and evaluate situation reports from LRC?s which define findings and problems, and recommend resolutions and actions required to correct the situation.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.
- Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain an Official U.S. Passport.
- May travel approximately 25% of the time. Travel may include site visits to stateside and overseas locations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) determining regulatory guidance and program deficiencies in regards to logistical supply operations, (2) implement integration of logistical plans and contingency contracting and acquisition (3) providing guidance and advice on supply chain, supply accountability, and logistical procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
