About the Position: Incumbent will manage, supervise, and coordinate the Manpower and Management Program located at the U.S Army Garrison, Directorate of Resource Management, Manpower & Equipment Division, Fort Knox KY.
Duties
Provide technical advice on a continuing basis for the execution of Manpower and Management Programs.
Independently plan, develop, facilitate, and implement some of the following major programs to include but not limited to: Contract Management Support, Risk Management and Internal Control Program, Agreements Management.
Serve as the coordinating authority for proposed organizational realignments of command and subordinate activities.
Supervise a group of employees engaged in management analysis and manpower functions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 is required.
- Obtain and Maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Supervisory Probationary period is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level which includes: providing technical and administrative oversight of the Manpower and Management Program, human resource planning and budget, manpower requirements, integrating and documenting Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) resource, (manpower and equipment) related actions, Agreements Management, and/or management of service contracts.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
