You will serve as an Equal Employment Specialist in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as an Agency expert on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and diversity services.
You will carry out EEO functions of the Headquarters (HQ) servicing activities ensuring legal compliance.
You will serve as the case manager on processing informal and formal complaints.
You will process informal cases by serving as a counselor to the aggrieved employees.
You will serve as the program manager in support of the execution of the DOD approved affirmative employment (MD715), special emphasis programs, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), diversity and inclusion management, and reasonable accommodation.
You will serve as a liaison on all EEO matters for the assigned servicing field activities.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidance and advice to process discrimination complaints, adhere to Reasonable Accommodation requests, or assist with investigations for compliance with regulatory requirements.
