The position is in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation’s (GLS) Office of the Administrator in Washington, D.C., and serves as the Environmental Specialist with responsibility for performing, designing, and conducting technical and professional assignments in coordination of environmental programs, environmental planning, impact assessment, inspection of environmental facilities or systems, reports and scientific studies.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.
To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience in the assessment of policy, laws, regulations, decisions and/or proposed legislation related to environmental protection or climate change (e.g., climate mitigation, greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation, climate resilience, renewable energy, ballast water) AND preparing and presenting analytical reports to decision makers.
