Duties
You will manage Contract Work Statement (CWS) reviews with budget executors, the contractor, SPN and SPLe to ensure technical content is accurate and appropriates.
You will be responsible for tracking contract plans of action and milestones (POAMs).
You will assist with the coordination between multiple branches to resolve issues and make changes to contract POAMs.
You will assist management with earned value management (EVM) analysis of contractor performance including contractor performance assessment reports and informal contractor performance assessment reports.
You will serve as a branch Quality Assurance (QA) manager, the incumbent plans, directs and manages the entire QA program for the missile branch.
You will serve as technical expert in support of the contracting officer for all QA effort in the branch; interprets QA requirements for contractors, subcontractors, and field activities in accordance with higher level authority.
You will coordinate with development engineers to create and define requirements for production test and inspection programs at contractor, subcontractor, and government activities.
You will negotiate contractual work statements which establish the contractor product assurance/production QA requirements.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position requires obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66.
- This position requires Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.6.
- You will be required to meet adjudication requirements to support access to Classified National Security Information as outlined in Executive Order 13526 and future revisions of this Executive Order.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and evaluating acquisition program strategies to provide recommendations in contractual developments and quality assurance requirements.
