You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT (SPB10) of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC.
Duties
You will assume complete administrative and technical management responsibility, authority, control, and accountability for a department encompassing 7 major management programs and several special programs.
You will manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of the overall effectiveness of the activity’s broad range of management programs.
You will manage and direct the development of master plans and schedules for the accomplishment of nuclear weapons processing and fleet support workload, within the context of Nuclear Weapons Security vulnerability considerations.
You will direct the conduct and analysis of management operations research and industrial engineering studies of missile/SWS processes.
You will direct the development and operations of all facility wide management systems and policies.
You will direct and coordinate the IT program including a unique and robust C4I program in support of SWFPAC’s Nuclear Weapons Security program, in addition to support for standard IT backbone capability for business systems.
You will direct the development, coordination, and maintenance of a financial management system that will provide the factual data essential for effective management control.
You will direct the development and operation of manpower and personnel programs.
You will direct the monitoring and assessment of contracts which furnish missile assembly, maintenance, engineering, and other services supporting the overall SWFPAC mission.
You will direct the development of systems and will manage programs unique to the SWF such as the Re-entry Body Management, Test Vehicle Management, and FBM Unique Container Inventory/Movement Control.
You will direct the program for Nuclear Weapons Security activation management.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and assessing Strategic Warfare engineering projects, administrative, and operational services (ex. TRIDENT Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS), Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) missions) to include budget requirements in order to evaluate and develop innovative policies, methods and techniques for the long-range administration and operation of a program lifecycle.
