Duties
You will oversee the planning and execution of all assigned Command Operations areas of responsibility including Command Property, Facilities, Future Facilities and Space Planning, Security, Safety, Environmental and Emergency Management.
You will serve as the senior advisor and subject matter expert for Command Operations to the Corporate Operations National Competency Lead, Commander, Executive Director, and other senior leaders.
You will oversee negotiation and execution of headquarters and supported PEO/DRPM common base operating support and service agreements.
You will foster and maintain working relationships with counterparts at Navy Region Southwest (NRSW), Navy Base Point Loma (NBPL) and Navy Facilities Command (NAVFAC) to ensure proper Command Operations.
You will Develop and maintain metrics, data and other information required to assess and improve effectiveness of Command Operations.
You will serve as the NAVWAR Departmental Emergency Operation Center (DEOC) Operations Chief.
You will serve as the NAVWAR Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) Planning Officer.
You will serve as the Project Manager and/or Program Manager for Command Operations Projects.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the planning and execution of all assigned Command Operations areas of responsibility including: Command Property, Facilities, Future Facilities and Space Planning, Security, Safety, Environmental and Emergency Management.
