As a Financial Management Analyst, you will provide support and advice on all phases of assigned program areas such as reviewing, evaluating and recommending improvements in financial methods and systems.Location of position: General Services Administration, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Location Negotiable After Selection We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications

Locality will be determined based on duty location. Qualifications at the GS-11 Grade LevelThe GS-11 salary range starts at $69,107 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience providing support and assistance in analyzing and advising on programmatic, business, financial, and accounting matters. OR Education: Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience: Possess a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position. If qualifying based on education: Applicants must submit a copy of their college or university transcript(s) by the dosing date of announcements to verify qualifications. If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment. Qualifications at the GS-12 Grade Level The GS-12 salary range starts at $82,830 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience analyzing and advising on diverse programmatic, business, financial, and accounting matters. Such experience must have included conducting programmatic and management studies and audits that required the analysis of complex accounting systems; and the application of analytical and evaluative methods in order to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations or functions.
