About the Position: This is a Permanent Position as a Logistic Management Officer with the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort Jackson, SC.
SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND OPM PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK".
Duties
Serve as Director of a Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), overseeing all phases of the Organization's program and work.
Convey leadership, guidance, and coordination for the formulation of plans, policies, and objectives of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC).
Provide extensive staff advice and policy guidance on a wide array of planning and management issues, policies, and practices related to assigned areas.
Execute technical guidance and direction to chiefs of functional areas of supply management, transportation, food service, ammunition management, clothing issue equipment maintenance, retail.
Execute technical guidance and direction to chiefs of functional areas of bulk fuels, oils and lubricants, inter/intra-service support agreements, commercial industrial-type functions, property accountability and materiel readiness.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1). Performing direct supervisory duties, and directing, evaluating and advising on complex logistical operations and subordinate activities in multiple areas, such as maintenance, AND supply, AND ammunition, AND food service, AND laundry, AND property accountability, AND air and rail transportation. (2). Directing logistics mobilization planning, and establishing priorities and procedures for subordinates and evaluating work performance, and recommending logistical program improvements. (3). Developing budgetary requirements and managing allocated fund for logistical organization. (4). Developing standard operating procedures, and reports, and presenting informational briefing and implementing new systems, and policies, and guidance and procedures of the logistics functional requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
