About the Position: This position is located within U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) G1, as an analyst and consultant for human capital functions, and organizational and management analyst for civilian personnel management and strategic human capital programs. This position is NH-03/GS 12/13 equivalent.

Duties

Interprets and applies personnel/position management guidelines, regulations, policies, etc, to respective programs. Prepares special reports and analyses on a variety of human resource management matters, which includes reports involving technical and/or non-technical missions and functions. Serves as an advisor and subject matter expert to activity management officials on issues involving assigned programs. Provides technical advice and guidance to lower-graded employees also engaged in planning and accomplishing projects. Utilizes personnel systems to include but not limited to: DCPDS, FASCLASS, AUTONOA, as well as Microsoft Suite for data input/retrieval, developing reports, and other administrative tasks for the Human Capital functions of ACC. Serves as the liaison with the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center on personnel issues/actions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position is Non-Critical Sensitive (2) requiring a Secret security clearance. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel of up to 25% of the time is required.
