About the Position: This position is located within the Defense Health Agency, Combat Support Directorate, Medical Logistics Directorate, Health Care Technology Management Division at Fort Detrick, Maryland or San Antonio, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

Drive the development of long- and short-term goals, program/project objectives, and process improvements. Review and interpret medical and health policies, directives, instructions and regulations from Department of Defense and Federal regulations as they are published. Lead or serve as a key team member and consultant on DoD integrated product teams (IPT), project action teams, technical working groups, and test evaluation working groups. Prepare and execute myriad acquisition documentation and processes, including the required safety documentation. Prepare internal instructions, operating processes and procedures, and related guidelines concerning assigned programs. Conduct analytical studies leading to development or selection of instrumentation to support the organization?s Joint standardization mission.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
