About the Position: Serves the Headquarters, U.S. Army Recruiting Command's (HQ USAREC) G-1 expert in planning personnel aspects of operations and readiness efforts to support the commander's strategic initiatives.

Duties
Develop solutions and programs to address emerging issues affecting human resources programs. This could be changes to internal USAREC programs, changes to TRADOC/Army programs or policy, and/or changes to Army Regulations.
Review/prepare/present briefings on mission areas of responsibility to explain policies and programs, and human resource management programs.
Coordinate and oversee the development and analysis of new initiatives for military personnel support and policies.
Develop planning points for personnel support and involvement to support operational missions. Works with action officers at all levels to develop, integrate, and document standardized personnel support policies and requirements.
Coordinate a variety of Directorate-level issues requiring input from external agencies as well as a wide variety of projects and taskings with subordinate activities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes develop innovative and responsive approaches in recruiting operations; analyze, develop and evaluate personnel support planning efforts and system processes that support an organization; conducts review of all personnel regulations, manuals and documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
