You will serve as a Construction Schedule Analyst (PreAward) in the Planning, Design and Construction Directorate of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will prepare in-house construction schedule for appropriate construction duration.
You will review Architect-Engineer (A/E) prepared construction schedules for Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure proper construction duration.
You will provide technical guidance to project team members on schedule development and coordination.
You will provide scheduling training to the Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) and Public Works Department (PWD).
You will provide technical assistance to cost engineers on scheduling software (P6 and MS Project).

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Applying a comprehensive understanding of construction scheduling techniques and extensive practical experience in developing and implementing these techniques on specific contracts and large-scale programs. This includes managing situations where contractors have requested equitable adjustments and claims worth millions of dollars, serving as an expert schedule analyst. 2. Communicating schedule impacts related to contracting and quality assurance issues. 3. Considering the effect of contract terms and conditions on settlement of award and/or incentive fees. and 4. Using scheduling programs, forecasting techniques, and critical path methodology to gather and evaluate contractor schedule and technical performance.
