About the Position: Serve as the primary analyst, administer US Army talent-Based Branching, serve as a strategic planner for officer accessions and talent alignment, and assist with Military Personnel Accessions policy and US Army Retention analysis, in Arlington, VA. Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 6 Years by a current permanent Army employee.

Duties

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop an/or improve strategic initiatives and procedures. Conduct analysis of program effectiveness to identify problem areas. Prepare reports to communicate data analysis findings to senior leaders. Serve as a liaison between internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure program initiatives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing data analysis to identify problematic program areas; assisting in the development and/or refinement of program policies and procedures; collaborating with various teams to develop strategic initiatives and processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Performance AnalysisStakeholder ManagementStrategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
