Duties

Oversees the system administration and management of the Command Assigned Training Management Programs of Record. Develop metrics and measures to quantify performance measures within the command, and the institution that will assist in enhancing organizational operations. Serves as Chief, performs review and analysis of operating programs. Provides advice and guidance on various training management programs and projects for all training within the enterprise

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a SECRET security clearance.
  • A one year supervisory probationary is required.
  • This is a Temporary position.
  • Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes experience in 1) Experience with directing the progress of assigned training projects and programs and performing reviews and analysis of operating programs. 2) Experience with using a variety of automated systems such as Army Training Development Capability (TDC), Army Training Management System (ATMS), Digital Training Management System (DTMS), Army Training Requirement Resource System (ATRRS). 3) Experience in working with Doctrine, Training, Leadership, Materiel, Personnel and Facilities (DOTLMPF). Experience with Administration and Management such as assigning work, providing technical oversight, assisting with developing performance plans and rating employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementOrganizational AwarenessTechnical CompetenceTraining Program Evaluation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
