About the Position: This position is with USAJFK SPECIAL WARFARE CENTER & SCHOOL, FT BRAGG NC.
Duties
Provides technical advice and assistance to the USAJFKSWCS Operations Officer on the planning, development and execution of the USAJFKSWCS operations.
Provides operational assessments and communicates SOF requirements to higher headquarters to aid in operational planning.
Program Manager of the Regimental Honors Program for the Civil Affairs, Psychological Operations and Special Forces Regiments.
Manipulate and Manage Tasking Management System (TMT)
Coordinates directly with the USAJFKSWCS staff, and USSOCOM’s subordinate units. Advises the staff on aspects of planning, policy, operations, training and readiness, as related to USAJFKSWCS in support of SOF military training plans and operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Managing and utilizing the Task Management Tracker (TMT) 2) Knowledge of military personnel manpower and equipment distribution, personnel and material management 3) Experience and knowledge with military command relationships and command control procedures to coordinate actions in the proper channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of command and control. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
