About the Position: Serves as the Executive Director and reports directly to the Director, Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP), US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7. Coordinates actions with Army, Joint, DOD and VA staffs, Congress and the White House. Manage the programmatic aspects of the Army Recovery Care Program and a budget in excess of $100 million.

Duties

Manage day-to-day operations to ensure that administrative and technical work is responsive and timely. Direct long-range planning for prospective changes in functions and programs. Plan overall work operations, sets priorities and establishes objectives regarding management of the organization’s business processes. Establish internal management controls to ensure that obligations and costs are following applicable laws. Review current year funding and manpower execution to meet emerging and future operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
  • A One-year probation period may be required to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties unless previously completed.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 30% of the time.
