Duties
You will execute development/implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, or loss.
You will perform technical and other administrative work to ensure the safeguarding of the most sensitive information and work operations of the personnel and information security programs for CSFWP.
You will assist the Command GSSO in overall long-range planning and execution of policy and procedures.
You will attend and provide security guidance at program technical meetings.
You will Assist with site surveys and physical security accreditations.
You will assist in conducting onsite physical or industrial security inspections or assistance visits and assisting in the evaluation of findings and development of
recommendations for changes.
You will conduct inquires of reported security violations and adjudicate reported discrepancies.
You will coordinate and conduct destruction of classified materials.
You will assign control numbers and maintain all logs and records, computerized and hard copy, associated with classified material.
You will assist in developing and managing the Threat Awareness Reporting Program.
You will develop plans and policies in accordance with regulatory guidance regarding threat awareness and reporting procedures, and reports
to higher authority as required.
You will conduct and document annual training for local personnel, including staff, contractors, and other facility users with security clearances.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with long range planning and execution of policy and procedures, site surveys and physical security accreditations for a special access program (SAP).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
