About the Position: Serves as the Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Quality Assurance program manager, functional team lead, and principal advisor on Quality Assurance matters.

Duties

Conducts special inspections and audits or fact finding projects with simplified to complex non-conformances, weaknesses, and the prediction of major causes of non-conformance. Develops or adjusts quality assurance and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) plans and inspection requirements, instructions, methods, techniques and procedures. Provides quality assurance and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) advice and assistance on process reviews and systems control to contracting officers, management, and staff as well as supported commands. Contracting Support Brigades Data Control Officer and manages the command's Quality and COR data functions. Full range of human resources (including performance management as outlined in DoD 1400.25-M, SC1940.5.7.4.) and fiscal responsibilities within established timelines and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

The salary for this position NH-03 Quality Assurance Specilist $$89,924.00 to $139,013.00 including locality at the rate of 18.49%.
