You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the FLEET READINESS CNETER SOUHEAST COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPT COMMAND ADMIN DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will advise administrative policies, devise and install procedures and office practices, subordinate organizations, and foresee administrative problems.
You will assist in substantive programs of the FRC as they relate to clerical and administrative functions.
You will advise and instruct subordinate secretaries concerning such matters as directives, reports, correspondence, and telephone procedures.
You will advise secretaries on preparing correspondence, requirements for various reports, and interpreting new instructions and procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Providing advice and guidance on procedures, reports, requirements and other administrative matters necessary to implement policies and directives.
Reviewing material for correct English usage, completeness, and format to ensure adherence to administrative regulations.
Establishing and maintaining files and records using office automation systems and other software packages to accomplish work under Navy procedures.
Instructing subordinates on the full range of administrative matters in order to achieve a high degree of compliance with established policies and procedures.
Making travel arrangements (Conus and OConus) using the Defense Travel System (DTS), and
Ability to use a wide variety of automated systems to include, but not limited to, ASM, DTS, TAA, DCPDS, TWMS, and CONOPS.
