You will serve as a EQUIOMENT SPECIALIST in the FACILITIEDS SUPPORT GROUP of NAVAL SUBMARINE SUPPORT FACILITY.

Duties

You will assist in research and developing new material, for conducting other training to satisfy unique or non-recurring training or work requirements. You will make suggestions for course modifications and type of training required to maintain operator proficiency. You will coordinate with supervisor when needed, selects, plans and formulates written and performance testing materials for the purpose of testing and qualifying personnel in material handling equipment. You will maintain and keep current all paper files, publications, regulatory guidance of all operator's qualifications and expirations to enable operator status reports to managements pertaining to MHE equipment training and operations. You will ensure operator's paper files are established and maintained in accordance with NAVFAC P300 and NAVSUP 538 and other applicable directives and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Receives, stores and issues hazardous material to support maintenance and repair operations; Prepares and tracks purchase request documents to ensure requested materials are received accurately and on-time; Receives and inspects all material for accuracy, condition and amounts to ensure it matches material request documents; Coordinates with vendors to schedule material delivery, material quotes to ensure price and delivery to appropriate locations are met.
