You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the MARINE DEPOT MAINTENANCE COMMAND of MCLC ALBANY GA.

Duties

You will establishes and maintain organizational integrity of the MMD team. You will conduct studies to evaluate the functional effectiveness of resources to determine and implement changes needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations. You will analyze workload in relation to plant capacity, personnel skills, facilities, parts supportability, and funding. You will maintain cognizance of supply supportability and production efforts by engaging with key stakeholders and reviewing reports and data. You will organize, leads, and actively participates in a variety of meetings focusing on scheduling, production, material planning, supply chain management, commodity groups, operations, and document reviews. You will Perform ongoing monitoring of planning data to ensure the accuracy and integrity during working activity. You will oversee the procurement and staging of all materials essential for Production Plant operations. You will be responsible at the team level for budget development and execution, planning, scheduling, executing work processes, and financial management of assigned programs. You will assign and monitors work daily, ensuring requirements are met, balancing, and distributing resources and workload assignments as needed to meet operational needs.

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Must be willing and able to be Recalled to Duty outside of normal working hours.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination and annually.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • Temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating, monitoring, and providing status of production efforts, Experience overseeing various logistics operation, Ability to lead teams, Experience managing budgets of projects.
