This position is located at the Office of Government Ethics (OGE), in the Program Counsel Division (PCD). OGE's mission is to provide overall leadership and oversight of the executive branch ethics program to prevent conflicts of interest. OGE works with a community of ethics practitioners made up of over 5,000 ethics officials in more than 140 agencies to implement this program.

Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience assessing organizational compliance of the Integrity electronic financial disclosure filing system with related laws, regulations and policies, and making recommendations for improvement for non-compliant program areas. Some examples of this experience may include: - Evaluating compliance policies and procedures. - Reporting program level information regarding the Integrity electronic financial disclosure filing system to internal and external leadership on the status of compliance efforts and programs. - Planning and conducting compliance reviews, identifying non-compliant situations, and recommending remediation. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
