Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) - Arlington, VA The selectee of this position serves as a Management and Program Analyst. You will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and getting approval for all USMS policy directives, policy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policy memoranda.

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343- 14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Coordinating, tracking and getting approval for all USMS policy directives, policy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policy memoranda. Working with Divisions and Staff Offices to ensure policies are current, relevant, approved and formatted correctly in accordance with agency standards. Ensuring policies are final and ready for review by Executive Leadership for the Policy Change Control Board. Leading discussions with Divisions and Staff Offices to certify all agency policies every five years. Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with management officials, OPR/USMS staff, Division/Staff Office SMEs, and other federal agency officials. Qualifications

GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0343-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: Possess at least one year (12-months) of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates experience in: 1) Providing advice and guidance to management and employees on various agency policy directives; 2) Overseeing and performing policy analysis, evaluations, studies, and surveys of agency policies and operations; 3) Managing, reviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of existing agency policy directives; 4) Monitoring issues or potential issues that would impact agency programs and operations, and recommend appropriate course of action; and 5) Coordinating, tracking and facilitating all policies portfolio approval process. Education

Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level.
