You will serve as an INSTRUMENT MECHANIC TRAINING LEADER in the Instrument, Gage and Mechanical Calibration Shop (TRF-352/96A), Nuclear Support Division (TRF-350), Repair Department (TRF-300), TRIDENT Refit Facility (TRIFEFFAC), Kings Bay, Georgia TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing training to maintain workforce requirements.
You will be responsible for analyzing schedules, assignments, and methods of operations to maintain and establish uniform workloads to meet deadlines and improve productivity.
You will be responsible for instructing personnel in performing work which is typical of Instrument Mechanic trade performing a wide range of nuclear and non-nuclear operations required to calibrate, upgrade, repair, and troubleshoot devices.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must obtain and maintain and IT-II Level designation.
- This is a bargaining unit position.

Experience conducting training sessions and instructing personnel participating in organized training programs and subject matter which covers all phases of the mechanic occupation.
Experience researching, developing, and administering Instrument Mechanic trade training as required by the Nuclear Support division.
Experience reviewing, maintaining, and updating existing training course lesson plans for accuracy and technical changes.
Experience inventorying and assuring availability of pertinent equipment required during Instrument Mechanic training operations.
Experience providing qualifications and re-qualification training in various repair processes to all Shop 96A personnel.
Experience serving as an Instrument Mechanic Training Leader responsible for instructing personnel in performing work which is typical of the Instrument Mechanic trade.
