You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the MRO Logistics Department, Industrial Logistics Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will provide advice and problem-solving expertise on especially difficult and novel production logistics problems.
You will anticipate the impact of business and production program changes that may affect the various production logistics processes and initiate changes to procedures or establish new procedures to ensure continuing effective logistics services.
You will lead a team providing expert logistics control and oversight ensuring all production operations requiring life cycle logistics services are fully supported.
You will participate in and support technical program reviews.
You will evaluate and assess compliance with accepted Integrated Logistics Support practices.
You will develop and provide recommendations for improving the maintenance planning of systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Analyzing various production logistics processes for long and short range planning to support sustainment of Depot-level current requirements and future capabilities. 2. Conducting production logistics assessments to validate the adequacy of product support elements, and identify gaps that impact effective and efficient production. 3. Tracking overall ILS health to identify and trend potential issues that may impact all levels of maintenance (SM&R, Obsolescence, Configuration, Maintenance Plans, Tech Data Discrepancies, Provisioning issues). 4.Utilizing production systems or processes such (but not limited to) as OneNDMS applications (CONOPS, Business Objects Enterprise (BOE), Make to Order (MTO) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), etc., and IMSP and GDP theory, policies and procedures. 5. Preparing and presenting convincing oral presentations to all levels of Government to effectively prove and justify significant deviations from established Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policy and procedures..
