The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the ISR Functional Area Manager by monitoring, maintaining, analyzing, and planning of all PACAF intelligence personnel support to wartime, exercise, and contingency requirements.

Duties
DUTY 1: Performs full range of analysis, evaluation, coordination, and advice on deployment issues.
DUTY 2: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities ensuring AEF functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organizational and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) objectives.
DUTY 3: Represents Force Management Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
DUTY 4: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities ensuring PACAF Intelligence exercise participation meets customer needs.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

- Overtime may be required, at times with short notice, and incumbent will be required to travel, including international travel, using any or all transportation modes.
Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of MAJCOM intelligence missions, functions, goals, objectives from squadron level to headquarters and assigned forces and associated intelligence resources in order to identify and satisfy unit requirements; Extensive knowledge of functional planning guidance development, asset management, tracking unit tasking, OPLAN development/execution, force posturing, and UTC development and management; Expert knowledge of Aerospace Expeditionary Force (AEF) concept and principles outlined in AFI 10-400. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Extensive knowledge of MAJCOM intelligence missions, functions, goals, and objectives from squadron level to headquarters.
2. Prior experience with functional planning guidance development, asset management, tracking unit taskings, OPLAN development/execution, force posturing, and UTC development and management.
3. Expert knowledge of Aerospace Expeditionary Force (AEF) concept and principles outlined in AFPD 10-4.
4. Ability to record, report, and brief pertinent aspects of work in progress or future issues involving intelligence contingency manning.
5. Skill and ability in using the following systems: Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segment (DCAPES), Force Readiness Reporting (FRR), AEF Reporting Tool (ART), War and Mobilization Plan (WMP), Air Force Wide UTC Availability System (AFWUS) and Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD).
6. Ability to efficiently plan and organize, track multiple on-going efforts, and provide Courses of Action and recommendations to senior leadership.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
1. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
2. This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507. Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of wartime/contingency operations. Incumbents of key positions must be removed from their military recall status if alternative for filling of the position during an emergency are not available.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
