The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a second level Supervisor of the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Strategy and Plans Division, ISR Directorate for PACAF.
Organizational location of position is: HQ Pacific Air Forces, Directorate of ISR Strategy and Plans Division, Hickam AFB, HI.
Duties
DUTY 1 - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
DUTY 2 - Technical advisor to PACAF/A2/A2X for matters pertaining to Air Force strategic plans and policies.
DUTY 3 - Provides PACAF/A2 and AF Component Forces (AFFOR) Staff the technical expertise/advice on Air Force airborne reconnaissance systems and sensors.
DUTY 4 - Serves as lead technical advisor for Air Force Capabilities Review and Risk Assessment (CRRA), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), and Joint Quarterly Readiness Reporting.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Must Obtain/Maintain Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
- Employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- In event of national crisis, extensive after-duty or extended hours may be required to satisfy urgent operational support requirements.
- Shift work may be required which may include overtime and/or irregular hours.

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Supervision/Management" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Comprehensive knowledge of national strategic plans and policies, intelligence systems capabilities/shortfalls, AF capabilities-based planning processes, DoD Readiness Reporting and security guidelines and procedures. Knowledge of airborne reconnaissance systems, architectures, capabilities, processes and consolidated instructions.
Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of national strategic plans and policies, intelligence systems capabilities/shortfalls, AF capabilities-based planning processes, DoD Readiness Reporting and security guidelines and procedures.
2. Knowledge of airborne reconnaissance systems, architectures, capabilities, processes and consolidated instructions.
3. Knowledge of the requirement management process, systems, tools, modeling, simulation and the tactics, techniques and procedures.
4. Knowledge of intelligence dissemination systems, architectures and processes; knowledge of the intelligence and collection cycles; and knowledge of organizational structures of the Intelligence Community, OSD, Defense Agencies, Military Departments.
5. Mastery of MAJCOM staffing procedures, guidelines and instructions.
6. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing; in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work; writing clear and concise intelligence products; and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
7. Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data; render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data; make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience; and present and/or justify a position effectively.
8. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors; and ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
