Duties

The incumbent for this position works closely with a team leader and/or supervisor, in a training capacity, on assigned task. Performs specific defined tasks involving the application of analytical techniques to study efficiency of program operations. Participates in developing program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology. Assists senior analysts in the development and establishment of the framework for implementing long-range program planning. Participates in special studies and working group meetings with senior analysis.

Requirements

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Official/Unofficial transcripts with the current enrollment course load.
  • Must be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) at a qualifying educational institution on a full or half time basis.
  • Educational enrollment MUST be on a half-time or full-time basis. Half-time basis is defined by the academic institution that the student is enrolled or accepted into.
  • 2.50 GPA or above.

Qualifications

Pathways Interns qualify based on their educational achievements. ***You must provide a transcript showing your current GPA, and documentation showing you are enrolled or accepted for enrollment during the current or next upcoming semester in a degree-seeking program if that information is not reflected in your transcript.*** For the GS-02 grade level: Completion of a High school diploma or equivalent. For the GS-03 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of post high school study. For the GS-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree. For the GS-05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree. For the GS-07 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision after completing a bachelor's degree.

Education

For the GS-02 grade level: Completion of a High school diploma or equivalent.

For the GS-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.

Qualifying education must be conferred or awarded by the closing date of this announcement.
