Duties

Serves as Media Specialist within the Business and Support Services Division (MR), Headquarters Marine Corps. Creates, plans, designs and prepares graphic representations for a variety of branding, marketing, and program/product promotions.  Employs extensive use of computer graphics systems, or comparable state-of-the-art equipment, to generate required graphics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Fine Art, Graphic Art, Commercial Art or a related field appropriate to work of the position; AND THREE YEARS of experience in the occupation; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above.Must have proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite of products as well as ability to quickly adapt to new technology that may be adapted by the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft business software is essential. Knowledge of methods and procedures of all visual information media techniques and production such as electronic media imaging, editing and on-location and studio still photography, videography, computer and manual graphic arts and the resource requirement for their accomplishment.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
