About the Position: Serve as a Visual Information Specialist for the Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID), Business Operations Directorate who develops enterprise solutions to support DACID with a diverse portfolio of activities to continuously improve the quality, impact, and timeliness of DACID investigations and operations. Position located in Quanitco, VA.
Duties
Provide guidance on creating and using visual materials such as: photographs, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, objects, models, slides, magazines, pamphlets.
Establish assessment mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of electronic dissemination content and visuals.
Integrate visual information projects from material generated by a staff of editors and writers.
Prepare and present briefings regarding the status of visual information projects.
Develop strategies to address complex visual information issues.
Modify complex and sensitive information into understandable and effective visual information products.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You may be expected to travel up to 20% for this position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing original designs, concepts, and/or visual styles for publications, exhibits, and/or presentation materials; transforming spoken or written descriptions of items, processes, issues, and/or events into visual representations; providing advice on various formats, styles, media, and/or methods of reproduction for use in meeting the objectives of each project; and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure material content is aligned with desired outcomes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
