You will serve as TRAINING SPECIALIST in the College of Enlisted Military Education (the Enlisted College) of the Marine Corps University.

Duties

You will plan and oversee all analysis processes, conducting research and providing resources for curriculum development, to ensure compliance with the education continuum. You will provide analytical staff support for curriculum developers, instructional systems specialists, and staff academy personnel. You will participate in examining, researching, identifying, and presenting issues relating to curriculum design. You will manage Programs of Instruction (PO Is) associated with both active duty and reserve component schools. You will develop modifications of current Programs of Instruction (PO Is) associated with curriculum updates, reference changes, and discrepancy resolutions.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting analytical research, providing resources for curriculum development AND identifying, analyzing, recommending solutions to standard college problems/procedures. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree,

or

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M, if related.
