Duties
You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and provide administrative secretarial and Information Systems Coordinator Support to the Commanding Officer and command deck.
You will initiate and prepare various reports, summaries, and support the planning for the Marine Corps Air Station programs.
You will conduct training sessions and coordinate with staff covering pertinent aspects of administrative operations for preparing the Commander's correspondence.
You will coordinate facilities sustainment, restoration, and modernization (FSRM) projects, minor construction, service requests, equipment and parking changes, and facilities repairs for the headquarters staff.
You will maintain the Commander's memorandum accounting records, Official Representation Funds (ORF) and Official Entertainment Funds (OEF).
You will prepare necessary correspondence and public vouchers covering expenditures chargeable to the funds.
You will assist with the development and maintenance of cooperative relationships with representatives of the local and state governments, community groups, and other military installations.
You will initiate and prepare various reports, review documentation, monitor status, file directives, forms, disposal procedures.
You will provide protocol coordination for the Commanding officer by scheduling and overseeing Commanding Officer’s driver support duties and functions.
You will oversee the travel arrangements using appropriate regulations based on specific travel intentions, schedule transportation, hotel/government quarters, and security issues.
Requirements

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: You will apply knowledge skills in political, environmental, economic, and social-cultural factors involved in community relations; direct administrative operations by planning, scheduling, coordinating, and providing secretarial support; accurately prepare budget and accounting statements; AND communicate effectively with high-ranking military and civilian personnel to ensure administrative needs are met.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- I have successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree or
- I have successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or

- I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
