Duties
You will serve as an Administrative Support Specialist Lead with leadership responsibilities assigning, reviewing and providing advanced technical advice the areas of material, and service acquisition and purchasing support.
You will review internal procurement/contracting processes to ensure business operations are effective and efficient in order to meet mission requirements.
You will assist in creating, producing and submitting assessments of new processes and provide recommendations to the supervisor to improve the utilization of available resources and administrative management services.
You will work directly with project managers to provide advanced advice and recommendations to develop appropriate procurement strategies, provide solutions to issues and to provide status updates.
You will utilize Wide Are Workflow (WAWF) system to provide receipt/acceptance to facilitate vendor invoice payments, utilize Microsoft Excel in addition to other data share sites to track and monitor status of procurements.
You will manage and maintain an IT system within the purchasing team that ensures coordinating and tracking of all procurement actions and follow-up of procurement requests, and requirements, status of orders.
You will serve as a Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) buyer.
You will prepare financial and supporting documents for procurement of materials and services; maintains the GCPC monthly purchase log; inputs GCPC purchase requisitions in NERP/SAP system; takes delivery of procured items, etc.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
NO-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing internal procurement/contracting processes to ensure business operations are effective and efficient in order to meet mission requirements.
NO-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in reviewing internal procurement/contracting processes to ensure business operations are effective and efficient in order to meet mission requirements.
