As a IT Specialist (INET), you will serve as a nationally-recognized expert in the management of projects supporting digital content management solutions for enterprise web-based activities and initiatives within OSC.Location of position: GSA, Office of Strategic Communication (OSC), Central Office - 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, DCWe are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Provides critical analysis of pressing issues and policy recommendations concerning enterprise web technologies to management officials to assist in formulating decisions regarding changing responsibilities or business needs, as well as in the design/development and evaluation of ongoing and/or new internal and external enterprise web initiatives.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $142,488.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
Applicants applying for the GS-14 grade level must meet the following requirements:
Have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Attention to Detail - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant investigates and evaluates “state of the art” technology of the industry.
Customer Service - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant confers with users to evaluate the effectiveness of, or identify the need for, computer programs or management systems.
Oral Communication - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant persuades others to take a particular course of action or to accept findings, recommendations, changes, or alternative viewpoints.
Problem Solving - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant identifies and accommodates technology and resource constraints.
Specialized experience for GS-14: One year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in the maintenance and development of website content management platforms for an organization’s external and internal sites, consisting of thousands of pages in a complex hierarchical structure. Experience must also include working in the Drupal platform; coordinating with back-end administrators and front-end developers to facilitate executive and programmatic decision making; and supporting official external and internal websites and serving as a troubleshooter for program personnel on a diverse range of data management tools, including software applications and systems.
