You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the Regional Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will assist in the development and implementation of the Equal Employment program with responsibility to assure that the installation program incorporates the requirements of law and regulations.
You will manage informal and formal complaints of discrimination and reprisal.
You will develop and implement procedures for processing information and formal individual and class complaints of discrimination and reprisal.
You will coordinate with Commanders, Directors, Western Area Counsel staff, the Human Resources (HRO) and the Office of Civilian Human Resources San Diego personnel on recommendations and implementation of approved actions.
You will assist counselors in developing resolutions of complex problems and in achieving acceptance of proposals through management chain to the head of of the organization or command group level, as necessary.
You will serve as the assistant to the Deputy Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (DEEOO) in the administration of the MCIW-MCB CPEN Regional Program.
You will use automated civilian personnel systems to process EEO reports, extract data from database, analyze computer printouts, computing and su,,arizing statistical data.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: processing formal and informal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints, analyzing and establishing complaint facts, developing resolutions, preparing reports and analyses, and making recommendations based on applicable laws and regulations.
