You will serve as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will advise equal employment opportunity (EEO) specialists and counselors on the technical and procedural aspects of the complaints program.
You will conduct interviews to obtain factual information relevant to claims of employment discrimination..
You will advise managers on courses of actions to eliminate barriers to equal employment opportunity (EEO).
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying EEO laws, statues and Federal regulations and applying analytical or fact finding technique to interpret, resolve or recommend resolution on Federal equal employment opportunity program (e.g. informal and formal complaint of discrimination process, disability and reasonable accommodation process).

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
