Qualifications

NOTE:  You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as providing leadership, oversight and technical advice on policy developments pertaining to equal employment opportunity programs/initiatives; and developing or identifying benchmarks/metrics for achieving a model equal employment opportunity program plan. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:  Ability to lead staff by evaluating work performance and giving advice, counsel, and instruction. Ability to balance multiple workloads. Skill in written communication sufficient to develop statistical/analytical reports on the effectiveness of a program office. Knowledge of equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, and policies. Skill in oral communication sufficient to facilitate training sessions on EEO policies and procedures. Ability to interpret civil rights laws and equal opportunity regulations for individuals or employers.
