You will serve as a INFORMATION & REFERRAL ASSISTANT (OA) in the FLEET AND FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER of NAVAL WEAPONS STATION EARLE.
Duties
You will refer telephone calls and visitors to appropriate staff or office.
You will maintain database with walk-in, call-in client statistics and provide data for monthly, quarterly, etc., reports.
You will prepare and finalize a wide variety of correspondence, reports, and other documents.
You will use multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents requiring complex formats and update existing databases or spreadsheets.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Communicating with customers to obtain factual information and develop responses/solutions regarding inquiries. 2) Preparing and reviewing correspondences, reports and other documents. 3) Updating and revising data in existing databases and spreadsheets to produce documents and reports. 4) Maintaining staff calendars, coordinating meeting arrangements, and scheduling meetings/conferences.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
