You will serve as a LEAD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGER in the COMMANDER ACTION GROUP (CAG) (N01) of COMNAVSURFPAC.
Duties
You will be responsible for leading Surface Warfare NLDF policy and program development, implementation and oversight of Navy Leader Development Strategy programs, and TYCOM leader development programs.
You will provide manpower/manning, equipment, maintenance, materiel and training for all Surface Force major ship classes home ported on the United States West Coast, and in Hawaii, Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan.
You will be the Surface Warfare Command Leadership Assessment coordinator, responsible for board scheduling, membership availability, and confirmation in addition to communications between TYCOM and Bureau of Naval Personnel.
You will be responsible for information sharing on Professional Military Education opportunities as well as assisting in development of specific curricula tailored to Surface Warfare leaders.
You will lead in planning, coordinating and directing the execution of training events and symposia to the Commander’s Training Symposium, Flag Officers Training Symposium and Retired Surface Flag Officers Symposium.
You will serve as an advisor to CNSP leaders on all strategic planning and messaging.
You will represent the Commander in the planning, coordinating and execution of numerous conferences and briefings with senior naval officers and senior executives from many organizations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning professional educational events for senior leaders and the execution of conferences for a symposia or training program.
