You will serve as a Leader Development Program Specialist in the Admissions Department, Dean, Admissions and Business Operations Division of DDHBAP ASIA PACIFIC CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES.
Duties
You will identify and attract future regional leaders to Center courses and workshops.
You will enhance and expand the Leader Development Program brand awareness and audience reach by designing and/or participating in the Center's core events and activities that attract and gather client base and partners.
You will create and manage the invitations process for the Leader Development Program and assist the Program Recruiter and Registrar with creating and managing the invitation process for various Center Programs.
You will provide continuous evaluation of the program participant referral, nomination and selection process, providing information to the recruiter and registrar Director and staff on the latest trends and methods for participant selection.
You will create travel schedules and perform coordination with Embassies and other U.S. and International Organizations in preparation for and while executing travel engagement.
You will submit detailed program budget requirements and recommendations.
You will develop brochures and booklets, adapting them to the requirements of specific audiences within the region to advertise the program.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing recruiting strategies and plans; 2) Providing assistance and handling issues in order to minimize event disruptions within stringent timelines; 3) Using personal computers and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to maximize efficiency with the use of a Portal system; and 4) Providing recommendations for program budgets.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
