Duties
You will require knowledge of the Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card and simplified acquisition policies and procedures which involve a wide variety of procurement regulations issued by DOD, DLA and local agencies.
You will maintain all records in Navy ERP and IBM Maximo systems of record as required
You will require knowledge of Financial Management Regulations and Fiscal Law in order to understanding the types of, and restrictions associated with the use of, various types of DOD funds.
You will analyze problems and develop practical and immediate solutions within procurement regulations, procedures, and policies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of the Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card and simplified acquisition policies and procedures which involve a wide variety of procurement regulations issued by DOD, DLA and local agencies. 2) Working knowledge of available software and EBS applications Navy ERP and Maximo or equivalents. 3) Knowledge of Financial Management Regulations and Fiscal Law in order to understanding the types of, and restrictions associated with the use of, various types of DOD funds.
