You will serve as a Purchasing Agent in the Business Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will ensure timely reconciliation of purchase card statements. You will use Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to create, pull and track all types of documents for the purchase card program. You will research, analyze, expedite, monitor and authorize proper and legal purchases/supply of hazardous materials. You will solicit quotes through written requests that are within established guidelines of the Small Purchase Threshold and the Purchase Card Program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Purchasing Agent work which requires a broad knowledge of procedures, regulations and policies related to a Purchase Card Program. I have experience utilizing automated databases to create, pull, analyze and track all types of documents related to a Purchase Card Program. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Resolving problems including over-shipments, any credits due, non-shipment of material(s), disputes, tracking material that was shipped or any other problems associated with getting the material or service; 2) Tracking and monitoring all purchases for status, delivery dates, etc. and; 3) Obtaining final receipt and acceptance of purchases, credit card resolution and timely delivery of items with time constraints.
