This position is located in the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of equal opportunity and the prevention of protected class harassment and/or discrimination for any activity conducted by the FDIC. The duty location is determined upon selection. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience counseling, interviewing, and researching to resolve charges under the purview of the EEO discrimination complaints process and experience conducting EEO training for individuals and groups across an organization. CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience counseling, interviewing, and researching to resolve charges under the purview of the EEO discrimination complaints process and experience developing EEO training for individuals and groups across an organization. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement. Applicants eligible for ICTAP (Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program) must achieve a score of 85 “well qualified” for this position. For more information, Click Here.
