You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist and Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist (Team Lead) in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Duties

You will serve as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist (Team Lead) responsible for ensuring that the organization's EEO program is effectively implemented and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. You will communicate organizational goals, mission, and vision to the team, identify work plans, products, and services, and coordinate team initiatives to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow. You will monitor the status of work, identify and solve problems, and ensure that the team is on track to meet objectives. You will coach the team in problem-solving methods, work methods, consensus-building activities, and training. You will serve as the Affirmative Employment Program (AEP) Manager developing and implementing policies and procedures to integrate EEO principles into every aspect of the Command's culture.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advice and guidance to management and employees on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and procedures to resolve EEO problems and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
