You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the JOINT, EDUCATION AND DISTRIBUTION BRANCH of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Duties
You will analyze data (e.g., demographics, metrics, timeliness, turnover) from human resources information systems to identify trends or anomalies.
You will review proposed military human resources regulations for impact on operations.
You will write directives (e.g., policies, practices, procedures) for military personnel actions.
You will consult with internal customers to discuss study findings and coordinate resolutions to human resources operating problems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:1) Implementing statutes, regulations and policies pertaining to assignment and distribution of military personnel and their dependents; 2) Monitoring permanent change of station (PCS) funding management ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; 3) Analyzing PCS and separation orders ensuring orders are written in accordance with policies and procedures; identifying weakness or deficiencies making recommendation for correction; 4) Processing actions items, utilizing manpower data, information, and personnel systems; and 5) Developing solutions to assignment and distribution issues.
