Duties
You will perform support functions for the Squadron’s Student Control Department.
You will have thorough knowledge of the Master Curriculum Guide (MCG) to ensure all events are met and successfully completed within the assigned syllabus timeframe.
You will provide customer service to Instructor Pilots (IP) and Student Naval Aviator (SNA) at CTW-4 Student Control Department.
You will maintain and update a variety of records to include ATJs (Aviation Training Jacket), ATFs (Aviation Training Form), pink sheets, designation letters, promotions and other documents as required.
You will review all ATFs (Aviation Training Form) for accuracy and notify squadron of any required changes, submissions, and signatures.
You will be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
You will perform a full range of administrative functions pertaining to the tracking of all Naval Flight Training.

Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require the ability to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 40 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative support duties for an organization or training program (e.g., data input, customer service, data gathering, preparing reports, correspondence, maintaining files, and monitoring training schedules/progress) and using automated systems to accurately document and maintain records and/or materials.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of 4 academic years above high school leading to a bachelor's degree in any field
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
